This life-size anatomical model of the human digestive system demonstrates the entire system in graphic relief. Features: nose, mouth cavity and pharynx, oesophagus, gastro-intestinal tract, liver with gall bladder, pancreas and spleen. The duodenum, cecum and rectum are opened. The transverse colon and front stomach wall are removable. Mounted on a baseboard. 81 x 33 x 10cm







Intestinal Villi



Magnified hundreds of times, three of the more than 5 million villi that line the small intestine are replicated in this vinyl anatomical model depicting their essential role in digestion and nutrient absorption. One villi is shown intact. Another is sectioned to reveal its network of arterioles and venules. The remaining one is sectioned to show its lymphatic vessels. The corresponding key identifies 23 numbered structures. 10 x 16 x 4 inches








Colon Model




This anatomical model of the large intestine shows the anatomy as well as several common diseases and conditions. The colon is cross-sectioned to show colitis, diverticulitis, diverticulosis, bacterial infection, cancer, spastic colon and polyps. Crohn's disease shown in an area of the small intestine. The appendix and rectum are also shown. May be removed from stand. Removable patient education card included.
